WD Caviar Black or Blue?

Is the WDC Black really worth the extra money?

coz I've heard a lot of people are good with the Blue one

Will there be any difference in terms of performance like maybe the Black would load the OS,apps..etc. faster than the Blue?

There is only a slight differnce WD Caviar drives come in three "colors": Blue, Black and Green.

Black has the best performance, but are loud and more power hungry

Green has the low performance, but is also the quietest and less power hungry.

Blue is the best spot between performance and resource management, hence is the most recommended for home systems.

wait wait so you guys are saying that the WDC Black will load OS and apps faster than the Blue?

I dont have an ssd, i'll be using the WDC Black/Blue(whichever I pick) for both the OS and apps
