I am currently using a Asus Sabertooth x79:

and I am currently using a dual channel Team Xtreme 16 GB 2400

with a CPU:

Would you guys recommend me switching types of RAM? Since the MB is quad channel, I was considering getting another dual channel of Team Xtreme in the future, but it's not recommended that I used RAM sticks that are 1.65 V apparently.

Also, I would like to ask about whether my RAM sticks are running its proper speed. The Memory sticks says they are 2400 and CPU-Z shows DRAM frequency of 1166.7 MHz.

Is that okay?

Thanks.

You are fine, they are running at 2400 (roughly) CPU-Z shows true freq, and these are DDR (DOUBLE data rate) so take true freq 1166.7 x 2 and get 2333.4 (off a little), and those are good strong stick, I've a 32GB set of these and love 'em....With your combo, you can run quad channel which is better performance wise, but as long as these are enough for you (enough DRAM) I probably wouldn't go changing the sticks)
