maybe your RAMS are of different bit type. Perhaps your 2 GB RAM is ddr2 but 4 GB RAM is ddr3 .... Therefore the motherboard is not recognizing Your whole RAM ...

This problem relates to the OS Version..
When using 32 bit OS this problem occurs because 32 bit OS have maximum of 3 GB supported ram . Although i can see that ur using 64 bit version of OS
Try reinstalling the windows (64 bit)

It could be there is a compatibility problem with the memory modules. Does BIOS recognize all of the memory? It might help to know the actual make and model of all the installed modules and also the motherboard and processor make and models, to check for compatibility issues.

I Have checked this problem by contacting many hardware professionals but it's of no use as they say that it should work fine but none of them are able to solve it Bios is recognizing full memory but still after the reboot it's showing Ram: 6Gb (3.30 Usable)
