There isn't really which one is better, just depends on what kind of features you want and what games you play, some games are optimized for Nvidia, some are for AMD. Like if you play Far Cry 4, I think that's more optimized for Nvidia, or if you play Battlefield 4, I think that's more optimized for AMD. As for features, one company has something the other one doesn't, I haven't explored all of them, so I can't exactly give an example. Maybe except for G Sync from Nvidia, I don't think AMD has that, it eliminates screen tearing. So it all really just depends on what are you going to use your computer for and which features you need for whatever you do. I have only had 1 Nvidia card, which was GTX 780, it was serving me pretty well...
