Hi guyz,
so i m in need of this forum again after a long time, and hope you guyz will help me like past days,
so my problem is,
i have Asus P8H61 M LE R2.0 mobo and installed the ram of Corsair XMS3 @ 2000Mhz (which actually runs at 1333Mhz at my pc) 1.65v 2x2 = 4gb,
now one of the stick gone bad and i m thinking to change the whole ram, so if i put single stick of 4gb ram (1333 or 1600mhz) will it give me the same performance in my games.
I m planning to upgrade ram to 8gb in future, thats why i m thinking to buy a single stick of 4gb ram.
Thanks

Solution
Get the 4GB and make sure it works Ok, then can always try adding the good 2GB stick - since you have it, if they will play you get a 2GB bonus out of it, and if they don't want to play give me a shout and we can try a couple of voltage/timing adjustments and see if we can get them to play ;)

ok, thank you every body, can you explain what is the impact of 1.65v and 1.5v, why people always ask to use 1.5v instead of 1.65v, and wht brand should i use, Corsair (Value Select), Transcend, Kingston, Silicon Power or some other
