You're CPU is OK, but that GPU isn't going to do much.

if you want a high settings with decent fps, i suggest you upgrade to i5 and gtx 750ti maybe, since gtx 750ti isn't that much high on price now.

i5 isn't necessary unless you get an GTX 760 or AMD R9 280. I would recommend an R9 270 if you want to upgrade your GPU and play games @ 1080p anywhere from High to Very High. (Sometimes Ultra depending on the game)

R9 270/270X is extremely cheap recently and it has a good value in the mid-tier of GPUs. It's able of 1080p high settings in most games.
