I've decided on this keyboard, but I don't know if I should spend the extra $60ish dollars on the vastly improved backlighting or just settle with the red LED. Which do you recommend?
It really just boils down on what you prefer, If i'm in your place I would just keep that $60 for another improvement in the future, or spend it in a nice dinner. But that's just me.

Sorry to bring up a year old post, but aren't the new construction of the RGB-switches also supposed to protect the LED and thus prolong the life-span of the LED as they are PCB-mounted compared to mounted onto the switch like the older single-color models?
On the other hand, the non-RGB has USB-passthrough on the backside of the keyboard.
