I'm planning to buy a Nexus 6 in the US and bring it back to Canada to use (for better price and availability), if i got to a carrier store (ie: AT&t, Tmobile ect) can i buy a phone there and bring it back to canada to use.

Do i have to unlock it (or do they sell an unlocked version)

will there be carrier specific bloatware?

will it WORK???

If you get it from a specific carrier, it will be locked to their service. Retail on that device is about $600 so for that much you can get an unlocked version. If a US model will work depends on what your service in Canada uses. Most new devices have antennas that can work in most countries. Look here under compatabile bands and see what your network will be using http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nexus_6

You can also just contact your service provider and ask. Don't know how much price difference you will see but spending a bit more when it's guarenteed to work and you will have warranty on it as well is probably worth it. If you buy a US phone, then bring it over, you will need to bring it to the US for warranty repair as it will...
