Hello everyone at Tom's hardware. I'm trying to build a gaming pc. I need it for the following: Playing Super Smash Brothers Melee or Project M 3.5 while recording with Fraps. I realize that dolphin can dump frames and audio but I have read it is not the most reliable. I would like to Play The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim above 30 Frames per second with graphic mods (60 would be nice but not sure if it's possible.) I would really love to play Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, GunZ 2: The Second Duel, Fallout 3 (mods), Thief, Bioshock Trilogy, Titan fall, Watch dogs, Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age: Inquisition. I plan on getting a new 1080p monitor and would like to be able to use it and my older ViewSonic VG710b at the same time. I have looked at other computer parts and here is what I have found so far. Will these parts work (well) together? How many Watts Psu do I require? Will the motherboard/Psu come with the screws I need?

and select British columbia to calculate tax.

I am a Canadian from British Columbia and would like to purchase all parts from Ncix.com because Newegg.ca has brutal shipping costs. Thank you very much in advance for your expertise.

Looks pretty good. To answer your questions, yes those parts will work together. You'll need a 450w power supply most likely. And your PC case will come with all the screws that you need to install your motherboard and everything else. You'll probably have lots left over.

Here are my recommendations:

1) Upgrade your video card a bit. At least to a 270: http://www.ncix.com/detail/asus-radeon-r9-270-oc-18-92748-1265.htm
That one is $15 more after MIR, comes with better / more free games, and is faster. I'd be tempted to upgrade to a GTX 760 if I were you (I'll help you save enough money to keep it in budget below)

2) I'd probably change my power supply to this...

2) I'd probably change my power supply to this: http://www.ncix.com/detail/evga-500w-80-plus-certified-5f-92643-1265.htm - $30 after MIR. Actually I'd probably get a nicer Corsair 500w one, but it would be a bit more.

3) You don't like these controllers? http://www.ncix.com/detail/microsoft-xbox360-wireless-common-controller-ec-60419-1265.htm

4) Here's a neat keyboard /mouse combo - I like it a lot better than the ones you picked: http://www.ncix.com/detail/cooler-master-storm-devastator-ms2k-29-103071-1265.htm

5) Most important - PRICEBAT.CA
You can pricematch newegg, Tigerdirect, or whatever else on NCIX - use pricebat, shopbot etc. to look for the lowest prices on all that stuff and do some price matching. That processor is $69.97 at TD for example.

Let me know if you've got any more questions and I'll see what I can do.

Thank you for the quick response jasonw223. I have a few problems with the things you suggested

1) I intend on going with the 270 video card great recommendation the only problem with that is I don't have a working printer so MIR are useless to me

2) I decided to go with Corsair CX Series CX500M 500W ATX 12V 80 Plus Bronze Modular Power Supply because modular has less cords everywhere and corsair is supposed to be well reviewed

3) The Gamecube controllers are a must have because my brother and I play smash on Wii (possibly Wii u) and if we ever decide to go to a tournament we need official Gamecube controllers. I already use my ps3 controller for Pc games with the better ds3 program.

4) I'm going with the Cm devastator combo and if I have enough left over I wanted to try the anker mouse because it has 3 side buttons and a well placed button in between left and right click

5) I tried pricebat.ca and shopbot.ca but the processor is still $70+
