So I picked up a new GPU. After looking everything up, I made the purchase. Hooked it into my motherboard set it all up, and it seemed fine. But when I started testing games, The PC shuts down when trying to run Assassins creed unity. Right at the main screen.

AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core processor 3.30 GHz
Ram: 12.0 GB
ATX 700W switching power supply.
(The new card) ZOTAC GeForce GTX 970
Windows 7 64x bit

Tested Leage of legends with zero issues.
Tested Skyrim with zero issues.
Got to Assassins creed unity, and it shuts the PC down right on the main menu. I'm thinking it's one thing. The PSU. Seems like under super heavy strain it shuts down. Ideas? Thanks!

only go for a 700w if you intend to sli in the future. if you want to up your cpu, i would recommend a 8320 without changing the motherboard. if you can change the motherboard, a i5 4690k with a z97 motherboard will be just what you need.

Yeah I know. Upgrading them one by one :p Just gotta make it stable first! haha. Its just a PSU that came with the PC. I just have no idea what wattage I should grab. I'll get a decent brand for sure.

most prebuilt psu will be low quality. any good 600-650w would be good. xfx and seasonic are well trusted brands.

Yeah I'm almost certain it's junk. If I'm going to throw a better CPU in there as well, Shouldn't I get something higher wattage? I'll probably just look for a 700 watt if not.
