Just built a new pc. AMD 8320 ASROCK 970 extreme 3 mobo, g.skill ares 1600 ddr 3 2x4 8gb ram. PC ran fine first few days with slots a1,b1(according to the manual for required dual channel) and today I get nothing but the three beep code.
After some process of elimination, booting with one stick bit not with two. Been running one stick for a total of 4gb ram just to boot up and what not. I know about cpu-z but don't really know what to look for in particular(learning noob).
My ram doesn't seem to be physically damaged as both run individually. What am I missing here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, Slots A1,B2 are first priority for dual channel , according to the manual. Running one stick on A2 for now to just simply run
