Hi! If you can help me I will buy you a sandwich. I just installed a new system as follows:

Asus Z97 Pro WIFI AC
Intel Core i7 4790k
Corsair Vengeance 16 gb (2x8gb) DDR3 1600 MHz

Those are the main details that concern my issue. I am trying to build a hackintosh. I tried to flash the bios to the newest version and go the message reading failed. I thought maybe it was because I was trying to do it from my hard drive (even though it could see the location). I logged back into windows and saved it to a usb. I rebooted with the usb plugged in and from that point on I no longer got anything on the screen. Now that I have the case on I have q-code 55. I have tried taking out the ram and using only one stick (trying both sticks at a time). I have tried resetting the bios. I took out the battery with the power unplugged and I have cleared the RTC Ram by moving the jumper, while the battery was out and with the battery in. Still getting the same issue. Any thoughts?

That's a 'Memory Not Installed' error. Are sure that you have properly installed your RAM? Did it "snap" into place? With the pc UNPLUGGED, double check that you have properly "snapped" your RAM into place and they are installed into their correct locations. Please view your manual for instructions on this.

Thanks for the response, yes, they were installed properly and it's unlikely that a simple reboot would have dislodged them. I have tried every slot with both ram sticks. I think it has to do with the bios flash or perhaps I fried the board or sticks at some point.
