Hello there guy's today build my son first gameing computer today was wondering what are some good cpu for gigabyte ga-x79-up4 he doesn't plan on overclocking at all. Got second question would a Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti bottleneck at all with cpu. The only game's he be play is like world of warcraft and Cod. Pst new to build computer tips would be great :)

The 750 Ti is not suited for an i7 at all. If possible, you should return the motherboard for one with a 1150 socket, return the GPU then purchase an i5 4670(K), then purcahse a GPU better than the 750 with whatever money you have left.

But I realise this will not be possible.

Your son will have a brilliant computer for processing, editing etc. but not as such for gaming (it will still perform, but the components will not be balanced)

Do you have a budget for a CPU?

In terms of new build tips:
- Ground yourself occasionally (touch bare metal something every once in a while) to prevent static damage to components
- Remember to use motherboard stand offs (they may be preinstalled in the case)
- Cable management is important
- Keep track of all screws
