I am looking at buying this build (http://pcpartpicker.com/user/K1D_5150/saved/RXtrxr) I set up on pcpartpicker.com and I'm hoping to get some opinions and suggestions if there is an issue with the build. I would like to be able to stream, game, and surf on a powerful (for the money, its right at the spending cap I have set for myself) platform that has some longevity and I can slap in some upgraded components in down the road. Any feedback would be much appreciated. :) Thanks.

1. The FX6300 is not bad, but it's old and I recommend the i3 instead.
2. That motherboard is bad,
3. That psu is worse.
4. You do not need 16GB of RAM
5. You do not need a fan controller or sound card
6. Never include stuff like speakers in your build budget.
7. To sum things up, you could do WAY better for that amount of money.

Suggestions? Isn't the i3 getting a little dated itself? I want to make a decent build, just not well versed on the subject. What motherboard and psu would you suggest? Appreciate the input.

My budget for the pc itself is around 750-800. Is the 290 a big jump past the 270? I picked the 270 for the price and a review i read about it recently. And would 10GB be too much RAM?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/jJrcVn

better motherboard,more sensible ram configuration,better cooler,better gpu,better case,better psu
dropped the fan controller & extra case fan ( the case comes with 4 fans & a basic fan controloler built in)
dropped the sound card - you dont need it ,the gigabyte board has thoroughly decent upto 7.1 surround sound built in
