I bought an Asus x99 Deluxe. I had planned to use my current power supply which is an OCZ600SXS. However I realized that the 12V connection on the motherboard is different than the connection(s) on my power supply.
The motherboard manual stated to make sure I use a power supply that is ATX 2.0 or higher. I found the specification sheet for my power supply and it stated that it was ATX 2.0 spec. I suspect I'll need a new power supply, but wanted to be certain
The connection on the motherboard is 2x4. My powersupply has two 2x2 connectors; and althrough the two connectors do plug into the connection on the motherboard, the shape of the connections aren't the correct shape.
