I currently have a Nvidia GTX 460(768mb) card but I recently upgraded my CPU to an AMD FX-8350, so my main question is, should I use a Nvidia card or should I go with an AMD Radeon card?

Which, in your own personal opinion, would work better? Or does it not really matter at all.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: This Week

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Mainly used for Gaming, but also serves as a home theater.

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: My current GPU is a GTX 460 and my current PSU is
750watts. Not sure of the exact brand, but if needed, I will open up my case and take a look.

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: CPU is a AMD FX-8350. I have 8 GB of G.Skill RAM and 4 GB of an off brand that came with the old build. MoBo is an MSI

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: My website of choice is newegg.com and I live in the US

PARTS PREFERENCES: Kinda why I am here in the first place....

OVERCLOCKING: Not until I get some sort of liquid cooling

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: I use 1360x768 but it's and HD TV, not a computer monitor per se.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Budget is around $200! Basically want the best bang for my buck, but who doesn't really....If you need any more info from me, I'll gladly help! =D

I personally would go for the 280X. I've seen them for around $175 and they are good cards. The GTX770 isn't a bad idea, not sure what they are running these days. From recent benchmarks I've seen I wouldn't bother with the GTX760.

750TI and the R9 270 will fit nicely under your price point and provide plenty of performance at your resolution. you may need to tweak settings more on newer games (crysis 3, metro last light, "next gen" titles), but both should give you a great experience. if you want a little more oomph, the R 270's faster than the GTX 750TI, and then after that you can skim some R9 280's & GTX760's for around $200.

Thank you for your suggestions, both of you. I will keep those in mind, but I wont be making the purchase until Thursday at the earliest....hopefully there will be some Christmas sales going on. xD
