So as christmas is nearing I've invested in another monitor for productivity and multi-tasking. However I was wondering how I could set these up the 660 itself only had HDMI, DP, DVI-I and DVI-D so what do, originally was just going to plug straight DVI-I to HDMI but was told otherwise so what do.

Also once connected what settings will I be required to do i.e extend etc..

~Thanks

You could get a DVI-HDMI adapter that carries audio and use two HDMI outputs. But you could just as well use DVI for one of them and HDMI for another. Also, if your monitor has audio output and you want to make use of it, make sure to connect the HDMI to that one as DVI does not carry sound. Hope it helped!

You can use any connection to plug in multiple monitors. I have one monitor using HDMI and one using DVI, they dont need to be connected using the same type of cable. No need to convert anything, as long as you can plug one in.

I seem to have sourced an idea, use DVI-D -> HDMI for the secondary monitor. Now just to see whether it will work.

Thanks for the help.
