I don't find a SSD useful, yes you get slightly better performance, but do you actually need to pay $100 for a 50GB SSD what makes your games load 2 seconds faster than they would with a HDD. HDD can give you 1TB with $50 and give you super long warranty when SSD gives you 1TB you get also a endless hole into your wallet.

It depends on your preference, if you think like that. It's ok. I particulary own a 128gb SSD just for OS Boot and a 2TB HDD for games. No one said that an SSD will give you apple to oranges difference in terms of gaming.

Well first off a 50gb SSD is not a hundred dollars, lol. I just bought a Crucial MX100 256gb for $104.99. Second, there are actually people out there that need faster storage. Third, it's a matter of preference and opinion honestly. When I got my first SSD, I said big deal nothing special. Then about 6 months later I had to work on a system without one. Reinstalling windows, doing the updates, and then finally all the restarts in between took forever! By the end of it I was so frustrated by all of the waiting. Now anytime I work on a computer without a SSD I know first hand that there is a huge difference. One other reason I personally prefer an SSD for my OS is that I like to overclock. When you are making multiple changes in the BIOS and having to restart over and over, you will be grateful to have an SSD as well. These are just my opinions. I still use old HHD's but that is all for storage now. My programs, games, and OS go on SSD's.
