I'm using the stock cooler that came with it.

The temps using Prime95 are

The temps when idle are (sometimes it drops down to even 32-33c when idle)

Should I be worried guys? I'm getting a h100i and a Corsair 750D case in a week or so.

Solution
No, your processor is OK. It will automatically Throttle at 100C to safeguard against thermal damage.

If you must run Prime95, don't use version 28.5, as it runs AVX code on the processor's FPU, which causes extreme temperatures.

Version 26.6 will yield temperatures 10 to 20C cooler.

Aw, my h100i is going to be with me on the 3rd of January, so I'm gonna be using the stock cooler for like a week and a half, would that be fine? :)

I did it for like ~10-15 seconds, so basically what you're saying is that I should avoid stress testing my cpu while using the stock cooler? Is my cpu going to be fine when playing games? I'm getting a h100i in 1-2weeks...

Uhh yes. Prime95 stresses your CPU harder than most games and a stock cooler isn't designed to take such high levels of heat.

Is there a possiblity it might have damaged my CPU since i ran it for about 20 seconds? If not, I'm going to take it easy otherwise I'm overthinking that I might have done something to it. Please answer! :)

I'm happy that it's okay, alrighty. I won't run any more stress tests anyway and I'm getting a h100i soon after the New Year since Amazon won't ship it to me during Christmas.

Have a good day, thanks!
