I have copied hidden files from my laptop to external hard drive.unfortunately my hard disk damaged .i tried to open the saved files from my external hard disk in other computer. but i am not able to view the file. but shows the files with memory but unable to view the files
please advise me how to get my files from external harddisk

Just to further build on what Mattios is saying: In explorer (the windows file browser) press the alt key, this will bring up the menu at the top. Click Tools > Folder Options

Then click the tab labeled "view" and find the option "Show Hidden Files, folders, and drives" and enable it. Then you can see hidden files.
