GPU burnt out, crashed my computer and now I'm looking for a new one.

As the title says, my GPU burnt out...I was actually typing up a new thread on water cooling when all of the sudden, boom. My computer crashed. I tested my GPU out in multiple computers and came to the conclusion that it has a short circuit in it. Whenever you plugged it in, turned on the PC, my LED fans would flash then shut down. You would have to remove power from everything and then,...yeah. So, this being the case: I now have a pretty decoration. It's a Radeon HD 7870..This bieng the case: I would like to get a new GPU that's an R9 270X. I'm thinking about getting the GigaByte Windforce card, however, I would like to spend around $120. There is a rebate for this card on newegg.com that should put me around this price range. Any suggestions?

I got an ASUS R9 270X DIRECTCU II for that price on newegg about a week ago but i think they sold out, it had a 10% discount code and a $20 rebate on it. Might be worth having a look.
