What if i ordered a 3.5 inch hdd and my case supports 2.5 at max

Your case doesn't support 3.5"? That would be surprising, just looking at a picture of the case I'm 99 % sure that a 3.5" HDD fits in there.

I actually have one of those cases, and it has plenty of room for 3.5" drives.
