Hey, I need some help with picking some long lasting, good quality parts for a gaming rig that I plan to build soon. I'm a huge fan of Nvidia because they include CUDA in their graphics cards, so keep that in mind. Also, I don't plan to overclock, but Intel is what I want in my build. I have no idea what other components I want in the build, I just want to be able to play Far Cry 4 in 1080p solid 60 on whatever settings. So yeah, Mid-Tower, Intel, Nvidia, 1 - 2 TB if affordable.
Thanks for the help! :D :D

EDIT: Don't include Mouse, Keyboard, and a Monitor. I got those planned out, ish. I only need a case and the insides.

Corsair's cheaper PSUs are horrible, don't go near them. GTX 970 is much, much, much more powerful than GTX 760 and cpu does not make much of a difference. Also, OP said that he won't overclock.

The thing is even if he doesn't want to, he still has an option to do so. Maybe later down the road, he may change his mind once he started to learn about these things more. This way he has a choice. Plus my build is in his budget.
If more and more games like AC unity comes out in future and we get unoptimized console ports, he will then only wish that he could've went with an unlocked cpu and better gpu as I've recommended.

I'm sorry, but you won't be able to play FC4 on ultra settings, 1080p with this budget. except if you go full out on the graphics card and save as much as you can for the GPU (at least a GTX 980 i'd say which is around $550). But even like this, I doubt it's possible.

Yes, of course you could.
But you'd have to cheap out on a lot of components which I do not recommend.
