My system is a Windows XP and I am getting these error messages when I'm trying to do a clean install with Windows 8.1. What do I do? I have some friends who have Windows XP and successfully did a clean install, so I know it's doable.

Most of the time these issues are caused by compatibility with hardware.

I have to ask you, what your processor is. Is it a 32 or 64 bit. What version of windows are you installing? 32 or 64 bit?
