Hey guys im new here and just built a cumputer for my son and wondering what you guys think. If theres anything you would change.

. I5 4690k
.gigabyte gaming 3 m/b
. 2x8 g crucial ballistix 18.66
.samsung 1tb ssd
. Evga nvidia gtx 970sc
.lg optical drive
. Corsair cx750m psu
. Asus vg248qe monitor
. Corsair 300r tower
. Windows 7 ultimate.
. Thermaltake cpu air cpu cooler

I think a 1tb ssd is overkill.
If you want just get a samsung 128gb ssd and a 1tb hdd(I recommend Western Digital).
Also get 1600mz RAM.(there is no difference between 1600 and 1866).
The reason I am saying this is because with the money saved you could ANOTHER gtx970!!

Maybe give us a budget and we will put together a nice build.
