Are my CPU and my GPU temperatures safe?

Hi guys just a quick question as I am concerned about my temperatures on my newly built rig.

I am running a i7 4790K processor. When I run prime 95 to stress test my cpu RealTempGT tells me that my cpu is running around 76C to 81C on all cores, but When I check my System Information Viewer with Gigabytes App Centre it tells me that my processor is running around 70C

My cpu idles around 25C to 29C according to RealTempGT but around 19C according to my System Information Viewer from Gigabyte.

Which one should I believe? and are these temperatures too high?
As I just built my pc I am worried that I might of got a bad thermal paste mount, I am using the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo as my cpu cooler.

And I have just one more concern, and that is my gpu temperatures.
When I run MSI Kombustor 3, MSI AfterBurner tells me that my temperatures are around 70C using the auto fan speed. But around idle it hangs around 28C.

Are these temperatures normal and safe?

I am using a Evga gtx 660 superclocked edition gpu

Can someone please help me, thank you.

"My cpu idles around 25C to 29C according to RealTempGT but around 19C according to my System Information Viewer from Gigabyte." - use your mobo uefi software or if none, get the temps from bios.

Only Prime 95 v 26.6 should be used. The other versions are too harsh and over stress the cpu and the ram.

Normal temps are less than 40C at idle and less than 60C at gaming. Stress testing shouldn't take them over 80C.

You...
I'd trust the gigabyte app if you have a gigabyte board personally mate. Even at 81c under prime full load they're not dangerous temps at all anyway.Ignore idle temps - anything below 30c is inaccurate anyway.
70c temps on a GPU are nothing mate - in fact under stress testing I'd consider that fairly good.

You only stress test to test something eg an overclock.

Those temperatures are well within the thermal envelope of your CPU and GPU. Temperature monitoring programs can be very inconsistent, and not to be taken at face value. Higher temperatures on load that exceed 85c are when you need to think about decreasing the maximum.

Those temps are fine. Note that anytime you are running stress tests, they are meant to tax your hardware to the fullest. 75-80C on such a test is to be expected. Some may even consider it good. 70C on the graphics card is also a good temp when under heavy load. You shouldn't have to really worry about either until they start climbing towards 100C.
