Solution

PS4 graphics card: Custom 7870. R9 270X is an improved version of the 7870. PS4's 7870 is at stock to save heat for terrible cooling system.

PS4 cpu is 8 core, but only at 1.6ghz. Even the Fx-6300 at stock destroys the PS4's processor, and imagine if you overclock it :/

It seems like the PS4's processor bottleneck the GPU in some games XD
Such sadness.

The PS4's 8GB "GDDR5" RAM I believe is just regular DDR3, but they added the GDDR5 representing the memory type of the GPU, not RAM.

Honorable

how can this be chosen as the best solution?!!

Show the source that says PS4 DDR5 is actually DDR3. It's combined GPU and CPU memory. I don't believe you as your own link says it's DDR5.

OP, I gave a short answer to match your short question. If you can't be bothered to write an actual question, why do you think people will be bothered to write you a (correct) answer.

If you actually read the thing, I said "I believe", meaning that it is my opinion, it is what I see and think. The link was to prove the rest of the things I said.

And it does NOT say DDR5, it says 'G'DDR5, which is the speed/bandwidth of memory most graphics cards have today.

from what i heard it is gddr5 shared between CPU and GPU

i know the specs of a ps4 , an what i meant was this

Those Bumbleheads dont know how to properly optimize a game

i mean a gtx 680 for AC unity? whil a ps4 could do the same on lower hardware?

I mean thaat due to idiotic optimization the specs of a PC equal to a PS4 should be higher

maybe a gtx 760 perhaps?

PS- a few months back look for an article with similar headlines

"can a pc be built with equal harware for the same price as ps4?" and they built one @400$

This one includes windows and destroys PS4.

Also, this thread isn't a question, I'm just showing off what I came up with and wanting feedback. Don't worry about solution.

I highly doubt the PS4 actually has DDR5 RAM. If DDR4 RAM was just recently released and is absolutely overkill-expensive.

That build you posted is a lot worse than the one I came up with.
PS4 games barely run at 1080p 30FPS. My build will play any game at 1080p at 30 fps at least. While the PS4 most of the times plays at 900p 30fps and soon to run games at 720p when they become more demanding, and the CPU becomes more of a bottleneck.

The R9 270X is a better version of the HD 7870, which is what the PS4 has. Overclock the R9 270X and no matter what it will always come on top of the PS4's chip. The 7850 is what the Xbox One has.

Optimization is not a concern. Updates come on PC 10 times more often than consoles, which fix these optimization issues. There is also tools and configurations that can be used to boost the performance on the PC. Consoles don't use settings like "Medium", in fact they get their own fully customized system to fit the horse power of their chips.

Thanks.

i meant the article and not the build(it is outdated as i said)

about the patches again-AC unity the latest patch made it worse

and the graphics of a ps4 is equal to the medium settings graphics of a pc. everyone knows that only pc has all those options

look sir , hardware wise your build is equal , i am sure everyone agrees with that but if devs keep on making these idiotic ports you would need a better rig

Admirable
There should be no cpu bottleneck on the consoles provided the game is programmed right unlike how Ubisoft wants to make a console game on a Nvidia gpu then wonder what the hell the problem is

Ubisoft in a auto repair shop would put a Chevy trans on Ford engine put it in a Mitsubishi and run it with a Toyota computer.
