Hi guys and girls,

I'm having a little trouble installing some memory I have just purchased and I'm wondering if anyone can help?

I've got myself 16gb of Corsair vengeance 1866 memory and I'm trying to install it in my Gigabyte H55M-UD2H mobo. I've checked on the website and what I can tell this memory will work it.

I've been into the BIOS and entered who I believe to be the correct timings etc (9-10-9-27) and enabled XMP but left it unaltered.

If I install one stick in channel 1 I get to the windows 7 (HP 64bit) loading screen but the I get a BSOD with IQRL-NOT-LESS-OR-EQUAL message. If I install both sticks (channels 1 and 3), I get as far as the Windows loading screen but nothing happens at all.

I have tried booting into safe mode too but that just stops at CLASSPNP.

Any help greatly appreciated, merry Christmas

Solution
Believe the mobo supports 16GB total but only in a 4x4GB config, don't think it supports 8GB sticks and sounds like you have 2x8GB - what model # of DRAM

Sorry for the delay in replying, Christmas stuff.

Thanks for the response, tried that but still no joy :??: I do have 2x8gb, I read through the specs of the mobo but couldn't see anything about the configuration of the 16
