Asus M5A99x evo r2.0 and amd FX-8320

Hey, I was looking everywhere and I could not find which BIOS version is mainly installed on ASUS M5A99x evo r2.0. I just need to be sure if that board will support amd fx-8320 out of the box because is my first custom build and I dont want to have too much trubles.
And what do you think about PSU is xfx ts 550w enough for GPU.

My build:
-Amd FX-8320
-ASUS M5A99x evo r2.0
-Cooler master hyper 212
-g.skill 8gb kit (2x4gb) 1600Mhz CL7
-WD 1TB 7200rpm
-XFX TS 550w
-Sapphire radeon r9 270x Dual X OC Boost Lite Retail
-Corsair cabridge 200r

The FX-8000 series cpu's have been out for a long while now and if you are buying a new FX MB, you can be sure that it will be supported. I always check the bios version before installing windows and update to the latest if it not the latest already. Remember to set up the bios after flashing or resetting.

Asus says it support the 8-core cpus.

Only possible BIOS 'issues' with the new 95w 'E' chips

The 'E' chips (or simply the FX-8370) were 'baked' this past summer at GloFlo, and feature minor core revisions (C0-j to C0-k).

See the AMD thread at XS for more information. The sweet -Es are hitting 4.4-4.5GHz at 1.25v with good air/water, and pushing near 5GHz on the top end.

I suspect these chips require the latest BIOS from Asus. They likely will run, even on an older BIOS.

In other words, don't worry about it :)

So, you should be OK. My self, I would get at least a decent 650W PSU for peace of mind.
