I am finally updating from my 2 year old laptop which could only play LoL med settings ~50 fps. I feel like as a computer science major I should start building my own computers so here I go. I would like it if I could play WoW/LoL max settings and new games on medium. I'm also hoping that this will last another 2 years (graduation, job, money) until I can build a monster 4k gaming PC.

So here is what I have so far http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6XbTVn

Since this will be my first time building a PC I want to make sure I'm getting the best bang for my buck. I'm counting the monitor with my price by the way. Do I need a cpu fan? good gpu/cpu combo? I'm not a really serious gamer I like games like fifa, smash bros, and LoL but I will occasionaly want to play a game like Shadows of Mordor on at least medium settings flawlessly

Thanks!

Oh thanks! I meant to ask that specifically, I couldn't tell if I needed it or not, I saw it had a port for the Ethernet but I didn't know if I needed that card reader with it or not.

Oh nice and $50 cheaper, thanks! I'll have to wait until after new years but I'm most likely going to do this one and I'll post how it goes.
