What kind of SATA and eSATA ports do I have?

My computer has a G3HR7 motherboard.

What SATA speeds does this have, and more importantly, what is the speed of the eSATA port?

Thank you! Another question - If I got a eSATA 6 drive, would the port work at eSATA 3 speeds? What if I got an eSATA 1.5 drive - would it work at eSata 1.5 speeds?

(What I'm asking is if it is forwards and backwards compatible, both physically and electronically. Like the USB normal connectors over the years.

Yes, all SATA and eSata are backwards compatible.

So does that mean if I get a 6gbps hard drive and install it in a 3gbps enclosure, it'll wor kat 3gbps? Or vice versa?

Yes, if you get a 6gb drive and put it in a 3gb port, it will run at 3gb.

If you get a 1.5gb drive and put it in a 3gb port, it will run at 1.5gb

If you get a 3.0gb drive and put it in a 3gb port, it will run at 3gb.
