New build turns on for one second then goes off

New build computer everything plugged in it turns right off when i take the cpu out and keep its power cord pluged in it stays on when i keep in cpu and keep 8 pin cpu plug in it shuts off

ok new build the computer stays on for one second now i take the atx 12v plug out and the computer stays on if i keep the atx 12v plug plugged in and take the cpu out it also stays on ? does that make more sense to you?

the 8 pin you are plugging in are you sure its the one for the mobo and not a pcie 8 pin for the graphics card

the last pic comes off the power supply with the mother board power wire any ways i feel everything is plugged in and it runs for one second and shuts off ?

cool i love when people listen and actually take a pic. First pull the ram and try it with just the ram in the slot closest to the cpu

it says in the manual this is were they go now see how there is a spot that i didnt use but its only one prong? dont know why then the first one i plugged in is reset sw then pwr then hdd from right to left
