Hello.

Tomorrow is the big day. I've finally got my hands on all the pretty little pieces of tech that Is imminent to amalgamate into my dream machine... But in a nervous and somewhat petty manner.

So I just would like to know what I should know, what I should watch out for, what are some expected problems, etc.

Please reply any concerns you may have.

Oh, and here's my build in case you're interested.

Solution
1.Remember to lift the CPU socket lever before dropping the CPU in -
2. be sure to fit ALL necessary motherboard standoffs in the case before fitting the motherboard - the gigabyte board has 8 or 9 - the case probably only has 5 or 6 prefitted.
3.Read your evo 212 instructions carefully! Its not a novice cooler to fit IMO.
4.Fit it BEFORE installing the motherboard in the case.
5.The tube of thermal compound you get with the evo is enough for between 6 & 8 installs - do not use all of it.
6.If you're old enough to drink - don't celebrate too much tonight - building with a steaming hangover is no fun & not recommended ;-)
