For gaming get a 6300, a 212 evo CPU cooler. Over lock it. And get the r9 280 for the 3gb of vram as it will perform better in games.

FX 6300 + R9 280. The FX 6300 is still a great CPU and contender for current CPUs and it will not bottleneck the 280, if it does it will be something very minimal you won't be able to notice a difference by using your naked eyes.
