I have got a 27 inch 1080p benQ monitor for Christmas and i have 2 Samsung 20 inch monitors @1600x900 both they aren't the same model.

I have tried all of the different connection types that i can but i have not touched the Display Port. I have read about people using the 270X in triple without DP so i was wondering how you can do it.

Yes that is what I want to do but the amd catalyst control centre says i have to disable 1 monitor to enable a third so i always have 1 monitor disabled. I do not care about eyefinity but i just want my 3 screens to work

Just to add i have read that you can use a passive DP toVGA adaptor but only if the monitor you are running is 1080p or under.

you need an active adapter for this because the 270x only has 2 clocks generating output. or use an adapter with its own clock like the apple vga-display port adapter. i have tried that and it worked for me.

I read that i only need a passive adaptor because it is converting display port to vga and they are both analogue

I cant find any active powered adaptors to vga
