Hi,

I have a problem with my FX 9370.

I have multipule frame drops in BF4, BF3.
I get high fps, and then it drops to low 20's.

My FX stays around 50-60℃.

I have a Seidon 120V, but I think this is to little.

Can someone help me?

Yeah your gonna need a 240mm Rad at least or a TEC/Peltier cooler. Your CPU stays around 50-60 idle? Also you failed to mention graphic card. That would have a lot to do with FPS

What does the temps shoot up to while gaming? Also you must have the new Omega Drivers 14.12 running right? Could be buggy right now as it is new. Have you tried asking on the AMD forum? You should become a member on there and you could ask about driver issues or leave feedback. Occasionally you'll get someone from AMD to answer.

I obviosly have the same processor and BF4 runs at a consistent 60 FPS with V-synch turned on so the CPU can do it. It may be overheating. Did you say that those temps were Idle temps? Because that's pretty normal for load. Definitely for sure get a bigger Rad.

Here's the AMD Forum.

If you computer had a 9370 then it will run the 8350 for sure. The 9370 is a power hungry beast that requires good cooling. I've got mine under the h100i with very high powered fans. Runs games and everything quite well but it gets hot fast that's why you have to tame it. The 8350 will do well with that cooler

Yes it does. It was built for me by a Computer company in the Netherlands, 'DragonComputers.eu' so.

oh ok :) Yeah I was just wondering if you got some heat issues causing the graphic card to throttle due to insufficient airflow. I guess you told them what's happening and they are going to help you out right? The 8350 will run cooler with that 120mm rad so that may have been your problem. I don't want to say that will cure the fps drops and be wrong. Hopefully it does.
