Windows 8.1 BSOD right after first install

Windows 8.1 BSOD right after install?
Hey there, I just built a computer and installed windows 8.1. When I get to the desktop (btw just installed so new drivers or anything) I can move around but there's actually considerable amount of lag when I open up anything (windows menu, file folders) and I installed the WLAN driver only to enter internet explorer and be faced with huge lag followed by BSOD. What should I do?

Note: I encountered an error but solved it (here's a video with the error and solution)

Well, theres a other way to it...
If you have a working PC, download memtest86+ and extract the files to a flash drive or CD.
    Heres a how to: http://www.sysnative.com/forums/hardware-tutorials/3909-test-ram-with-memtest86.html
Grab your flash drive/CD on the problematic computer and boot to memtest86+
