hey guys,
I had just finished installing my motherboard drivers and when I restart my computer I got to the windows starting screen and just keep getting the blue screen of death. I tried putting on my windows 7 disk to reinstall windows but it won't boot off the desk either. HELP

But it work up until you load them. Format, start again. This time instead of installing ALL the drivers at once which is what I'm assuming you are doing, load them one at a time with a reboot in between. That should tell you which one is bad/wrong. It's either a bad driver on the disk, or you are picking the wrong one from the list of options. My guess would be the chipset driver.

I don't get it. Post after post on this forum happens when people come looking for help, and leave ZERO details. Believe me or not, but we don't know what your PC is made up of. Nor do we know what the numbers on this BSoD are, so we can look it up and figure out what is wrong. People, if you want help, we are not mind readers and we need DETAILS about what is going on.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690k 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: crucial ballistic sport 8GB (2 x 4GB)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($51.85 @ OutletPC)
PSU: thermaltake 500w

And I can't read the BSoD message because it is gone in the blink of a eye.

I'm guessing you are trying to boot from a hdd that has windows already on it from an old machine? If so the issue is windows is trying to use standard IDE SATA drivers, while the new machine is trying to use AHCI drivers. Go into the bios and change the SATA ports to AHCI and try booting again.
