I have a Windows 7 pro computer, with service pack 1

I do not have any bluetooth devices or bluetooth drivers loaded into my computer.
After an ?update? Bluetooth Security Tag is now my default log in.

I did try to restore my computer to no avail.

does anyone know what loaded or changed the log in and how to disable it.

I had this same problem in March 2014 and solved it, but can't remember what I did. A couple of days ago, it popped back up, at about the same time as your post. I think it is Windows related, but am having hell figuring it out. I updated Windows Defender and IE recently, but don't think it is related to those. This is so frustrating. Let's solve this and document it online so that it pains no one again. Thanks.

I fought this for an hour before my last post, then solved it right afterwards, at least solved it for me. I hope my solution works for you. For me, it was not Windows related. I found some helpful information from this link:

http://www.shouldiremoveit.com/CSR-Harmony-Wireless-Software-Stack-39987-program.aspx

It basically states that if you have CSR bluetooth software and mess with the way it starts, then it causes the program to function improperly. For me, I had it set to disabled, but setting it back to manual got my logon screen to work the way I wanted it to. Solution: Start->Administrative Tools->Component Services->Services-> set the four CSR services to manual by double-clicking and changing startup type. A fresh boot and my computer is fixed. Now I need to figure out what to do about all of those other services I shut down troubleshooting this issue. My wife bought the CSR bluetooth adapter, it sucked, we never use it, and it has hijacked my computer twice! I guess another option may be to uninstall the software if you don't use it. Best of luck!

I just wanted to say "Thank You"! It doesn't get rid of the underlying problem, but it fixed it for now and I'll do some more research to get to the bottom of this.
