Hi ! I planning to upgrade my PC from AMD to Intel.

My Current Rigs

Windows 7 Home Premiun 64Bit
Gigabyte Ultra Durable™ Motherboard Socket FM2+ F2A88XM-D3H
AMD A10-6800k APU with Radeom (tm) HD Graphics
12GB RAM Kingston (1333MHz)
Palit Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 Jetstream 2GB
FSP EVEREST 80Plus 800W True Power
Samsung Evo 840 250GB
Hitachi 500GB 16MB HDD

Plan to change to.
Motherboard: Asrock Z87 Extremes4 (Tom's Hardware 2013 Smart Buy Award)
CPU Chip set: Intel i5 4690k Quad Core 3.5Ghz (Turbo 3.9Ghz) (Haswell) (LGA1150)
Power Supply: Cooler Master V850 Full Modular.

My budget for Motherboard and CPU total around $400 to $500
All Currency in my local is SGD

I from Asia (Singapore) In my Local the price.
First come in mind as dealer offer me.
Asrock Z87 Extremes4 cost $195 SGD,
Intel i5 4690K (3.5GHZ) cost $339

Other Intel Core price.
Intel i5 4460 ($253) Intel i5 4590 ($272) Intel i5 4690 ($302)

Other Motherboard price.
Asrock Z97 Extremes4 ($259)
MSI Z97 SLI Plus ($259)
Asus Z97-K ($245)
MSI H97 Gaming 3 ($209)
Asus H97- Pro Gamer ($219)
Asrock H97 Killer ($215)
Asrock Z87 Killer ($225) / Asrock Z97 Killer ($239)
MSI Z97 Guard Pro ($229)

I like to play games that can be smooth and good graphics. Settings High, Very High, Ultra.

Like to play with Single Monitors. Never intend to play with 3 Monitors. I rather get bigger monitors than having 3 monitors together that will confuse when playing games.

Most of the time will be playing game. Single Monitor. Want FPS Above 50+, Good Graphics, No Lag.

The rest i plan to keep and use until further i have enough money to change.

I still very noob at knowing about CPU and Motherboard what is the best that can be use for gaming. Normally i play games like Far Cry 4, DayZ Standalone, The Forest, Dota 2, The Crew.

In the next year 2015 Jan. I wanna play Dying light. The Requirement are high ! So i plan to change from AMD to Intel as i scare it wouldn't able to run the game for my Current Rigs.

For now my GTX 680 is just a minimum requirement able to play. Next time when i able to get more money i will upgrade to Asus GTX 970 4GB

Dying Light System Requirement.

Recommended.
Intel® Core™ i5-4670K @3.4 GHz / AMD FX-8350 @4.0 GHz
8 GB RAM DDR3
40 GB free space
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 780 / AMD Radeon™ R9 290 (2GB VRAM)

What you guys think?

Appreciate people who help ! Believe tomshardware are better in community !

Solution
overclocking is a choice simply of the user.

the $50 more is worth it for the Z87 Extreme4, even if you aren't overclocking. The board is bigger, better VRM cooling and has more features that is always handy to have.

So far in my life i never overclock before. I do not know how to Overclock the system. Does overclocking helps alot??! Some people said that overclocking can kill your system faster means life span will be shorter and need to spend more Cash on it.

I like to have the best value CPU and motherboard that can play games Above 50+ FPS in 1920 x 1080 ! I think graphic card i would go for Palit GTX 970 4GB Jetstream seems cheaper and better in performance.

currently, not much and for the life of the CPU and your uses, most likely won't really need to be.

"Some people said that overclocking can kill your system faster means life span will be shorter and need to spend more Cash on it."

More heat, shorten lifespan, if done incorrectly can kill your cpu (Overvolting), higher TDP means more power consumption so it costs more to run.

This combo:

Intel i5 4590

Asrock Z87 Extremes4 cost $195 SGD

With a GTX 970 would be an excellent gaming build.

However, considered an Xeon E3 1220 V3?

Pretty much a locked i7 with integrated graphics. It is a server CPU but if believed to be a worse-off performer then you've fallen for marketing. This cost of this is close to an i5, and excellent value for what it is. You do not need integrated graphics as you have far better dedicated, and if overclocking is a no then it's the best choice for you.

So i will just get Asrock Z87 Extremes 4 seems this is the cheapest motherboard even thought is previous generation.

Intel i5 4590 with Asrock Z87 Extremes 4 ?

It seems like i doesn't really need to overclocking as what you said. Intel i5 4590 is just a default CPU with no Overclocking or any other thing right?

Any increase in speed will increase heat which will shorten lifespan (how much will determine the shortened life), how badly will depend on the cooling solution.

Okay.

It seems like i doesn't really need to overclocking as what you said. Intel i5 4590 is just a default CPU with no Overclocking or any other thing right?

Yes, It's more like a default CPU that should not be overclocked. But Z series boards are designed for overclocking. Why not get a H87 or H97 board for even lesser price?

I like Asrock Z87 Extremes4 because the motherboard design to have a temperature device below show and is in black color. Has 7.1 Channel in the future i might get Razer Tiamat 7.1 and Razer Leviathan Sound-bar

Thanks alot ! Appreciate ! Now for the Power Supply. Should i get Cooler Master V750 Full Modular or V850 ? How much power do i need i not sure too.

V750 Price $185
V850 Price $215

I have Corsair H60 Water Cooling for the CPU. My Ram looks weak... Kingston 12GB each ram only has 668mhz. Super low Mhz...
