My External Battery Makes A High Pitched Noise While Charging My Phone

I recently got an upgrade from my cell provider and got the LG G3. So far, I'm having no issues with the phone itself, but I noticed something a bit bothersome while trying to charge it by plugging it into my external battery. Upon doing so, the battery seems to emit a high pitched whine. There is no other issue I've noticed and my phone is able to charge from it, but this is moderately annoying and concerning, as I worry that this may be signs of a more severe issue or may lead to one. I don't quite know enough about phones to feel confident in any sort of prognosis, but something I noticed when looking at the specs of this phone is that my old phone had a 2100mAh battery, and my new one has a 3000mAh battery. Is it possible that this is happening because my external battery isn't meant to handle a more powerful battery?

First place to check on this would be with the maker of your battery pack. Those are not really made to be used for constant charging only to use when the phone is low and you need to charge it. Normally you just use the regular wall charger that came with the phone.
