Hi dear friends. (and sorry for my english grammer and spelling mistakes)
I am so frustrated...
My pc shuting down itself every 3-5 minutes, even in bios.. it is like it cannot go and work further longer this period of time. after the pc shuts down i'm pressing the power button, nothing happens and the Standby led on the mobo is on. after that to turn on the pc again i have to turn off and on the psu and and push the power button 2-3 times before it starts.

I tried running the pc with one memo stick, tried all traces and used onboard video output.
tried to disconnect all storage hardware and run it only with cpu and one memo stick and it is still shuts down in bios after couple of minutes.
I succeeded to update the bios in this period of 3-5 minutes before it shuted down.
the CPU temperature not exceeding 26-27 Celcius... there are 3 additional fans cooling the mobo.

Dear friends please HELP me....

Solution
Try with a different PSU if possible either the PSU is faulty or the board has manufacturing defect the board is brand new so you can just replace it and the PSU also have warranty left so you dont have to worry BTW do you have a GPU if yes then what ?

Plus any reason for buying a Z97 board for a locked processor ?

I had same problem, but solved. My PSU HX 750 Corsair and only single GTX 960 ( STRIX). Before I connect 2 Fan, CPU and chassis ( 12cm ). I think the problem is that MOBO don't have enough power, so i disconect chassis fan. It works perfectly since then. If u connect cpu fan to secondary cpu fan socket It wont work also. It must connect to primary socket. I have seen old MOBO have 5 Fan support like this, but it have another socket power to connect from PSU.
My problem now is that after shutdown LED still on both MOBO and VGA, so i must disconect from power outlet after it.
