Hey everyone
My pc doesnt want to boot up, no fans spin nothing. But the light on the motherboard shines , so i assume it is getting power. I tested my psu on another pc and it works.. Can my cpu heatsink be a problem? It is the stock intel heatsink, mounted on a Asus p67lm-x motherboard with a i5 2400. Thanks is advance.

LOL I had a similar issue once and it was that I had the voltage switch on the back of my PSU set to the higher number and I struggle for the next week or so then realized that it was switched, so I switched it back. Also because your computer doesn't boot doesn't mean that your CPU heatsink is "Broken."

Edit: I am so sorry...I read this entire thing wrong... I thought that you tested your system with another PSU not, another PSU in your system.
Try resetting your bios? That might help. Or resocketing your CPU.

No it is not! I stated "testing your PSU in another sytsem" then stated "Another system with your PSU" Which means either 2 systems or 2 PSU's

LOLOLOLOL WELL THEN! After reading another 5 times later out lout (because that' the only way I can hear it) I finally figured it out! I mean that he tried the PSU in a different system other than the one that he is attempting to start up and another PSU in the system that he is trying to start up (If that makes any sense LOL)
