My current MSI MB dead after having done a bad flash. To get my pc back running, I purchased a different make MB. The Asus P8Z77-V Pro. After the transfer of my hardware to the new board, I cannot access my bios if my scandisk SSD drive which has Windows 7 installed if it is plugged into any of the sata ports. I just get the Asus logo and it ask me to press F2 or delete key to enter bios. However, my keyboard is not responsive to any key press.
If I unplug the ssd HD and start it up, I am able to access the bios. Has my ssd drive failed or is there a setting in bios I have to enable to read ssd? Do I need to reformat the SSD card and do a fresh OS install? My other standard HHD which contain files are seen by the MB just fine. It is just the SSD I am having trouble.
