3570k 70 degrees at 4.0 OC Acceptable temp?

Description pretty much has it, under load with both OCCT/Furmark running, as I wanted to see how hot it gets while the GPU is also under load. The max GPU temp is 59, with a max CPU temp of 73 after about 2 hours, but generally floated between 67 and 71 through most of the test.

That's on air not water by the way. Thoughts?

Ivy tends to be hot, even lower clocked. What cooler you have on it?

Perfect temperatures !

for i5 3570K
Standard Ambient = 22C
Tcase (CPU temp) = 67C
CPU / Core offset + 5C
Tjunction (Core temp) = 72C
Tj Max (Throttle temp) = 105C

the GPU temp is pretty fine

i guess you re using the stock cooler .with an aftermarket cooler like 212 EVO , the temp would fall further

Noctua NH-U14S is the cooler. Even under load the rig is pretty quiet, the only fans I do hear I think are from the GPU as all the other case fans are Noctuas and the case is the Corsair 550D with only 2 front and 1 rear 120's.

Debating changes and upgrades on the rig as a whole, but that's for another thread.

Also I use MSI Afterburner and a custom fan profile for the GPU, basically I have it set for the fans to go 100% at 59 degrees, hence that's where the temp stops increasing.

I'm considering getting a 140mm fan for the exhaust to prevent heat from building up in the case, unfortunately on my case I'm stuck with 120's for the front intakes and I really don't want to use the side or top fan mountings that are available as that would open up the case and let more noise out.

Regardless , the temp are not threatening . But with such a cooler could be even lower.

I'm going to double check the fans are running at my intended speeds, particularly the CPU cooler one because a Noctua NH-U14S isn't a lightweight when it comes to cooling.
