If I want to re-apply thermal paste to the stock CPU fan, or use an aftermarket one, do I need to remove the mobo from the case to do this? Or will the 6 screws holding the mobo onto the mobo standoffs be enough support to remove and "reclick" the stock cpu fan back in? Thanks for your input!

Solution
Surprised no one has answered this yet. No need to remove the mobo for the stock fan. The only reason you'd need to remove it for an aftermarket is if it requires a supporting backplate, and even then most cases have a cutout in the mobo tray so you can access the back of the mobo by removing the right-side side panel. If you have a small or tightly packed case, you may have to remove it just to have room to work.
