Hi,
I have just tried to install a new graphics card in SLI however my computer is now not working. It was a gtx 760 and I previously had the exact same card already in my computer with no issues. When I first booted it with 2 cards the computer wouldn't turn on so I took out the card and it started to work again. I then tried to put in the card again as i thought I might not have plugged it in properly the first time. Upon doing this the computer proceeded to turn on and the fans started to spin very very loudly. The CPU_LED light was on permanently and the compputer could not be turned off with the power switch, I had to turn it off at the back from the PSU. I have tried several old cards and the issue is the same with all of them. Im assuming this means it is not an issue with the graphics cards but something else in the computer. I have tried searchign what the light means but none of the issues seemed at all similar to mine.
I have an OCZ 600W PSU an M5A99X EVO motherboard. My CPU is a amd phenom 2 x4 965 black edition but I do not believe it could be an issue with the CPU.
Edit: I think it has been narrowed down to either the motherboard or the CPU
