Really high ping after buying new computer

So I just got this new computer Asus Rog G20, but now I'm not able to play games anymore due to really high ping and disconnects.

Well its not your computer because that is really up to date. Try plugging your computer to your modem/router with a ethernet cable and see what happens. Also try moving closer to your router.
