So I am building a comp and have some of the pieces but the more I look into those the more I seem to find that the other pieces I was going to buy don't really go well with them I think. Below is a list of my entire comp and I would like feedback on if it will be great for gaming. The motherboard, processor, and fan I already own, but the rest I still need to buy.

Motherboard: ASUS Z97-A ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97-A

Ram: CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 Desktop Memory Model CMY16GX3M2A1866C9R (Red)

Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz) (BX80646I74790K)

Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan (RR-212E-20PK-R2)

Graphics Card: ASUS STRIX-GTX970-DC20C-4GD5 Graphics Cards STRIX-GTX970-DC20C-4GD5

Power: EVGA SuperNOVA 850G2 80PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V/EPS12V 850W Power Supply 220-G2-0850-XR

SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-7TE250BW)

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1 TB HDD SATA 6 Gb/s NCQ 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive ST1000DM003

I have a budget of about 1000 dollars but I don't want to spend that much if I don't have to, because I still have to buy a monitor and some other accessories. Any input on the build would be great. Thank you.
