I'm currently swapping out parts in my computer and upgrading my MoBo making sure it supports the parts I'm looking for.

I have no way of searching for motherboards based on what it supports so I've been going through trial and error which takes a long time.

The parts I want the MoBo to support are:

  • Intel 4th Generation i5 processor (undecided on which)
    GeForce GTX 760
    Gigabyte PoweRock AX 600
    8GB Kingston DDR3 RAM x2

Can someone recommend a MoBo that will work with these parts? Thanks.

Almost literally every z97 motherboard on the market wil support those parts. Recommendations are based on how much you are looking to spend, but anything from Asus, ASrock, MSI, or Gigabyte should work for you.

any of the h97 or z97 mb will work. power supply and ram is standard on mb. when you look at mb if you want to sli or crossfire you have to read the video slots (make sure there more then one and they do 16x8x8x. 16x is with one card and 8x;/8x is with two cards. h97 mb are locked mb you cant over clock them and they have less features then z97. if you have a local micro center they have combo deals on intel cpu and mb. (40.00 instant) my friend picked up a 4690k and a asus sabertooth mark 2 mb for a good price. (130.00 for the mb).
